A New Year and a new resolution – to finally finish Kath’s cushion of Finnish metal god Ville Valo. We created a tension square, edited an image in photoshop, and sent the image to the Brother KH950i using the Daviworks hack. The image we sent was stretched at a ratio of 1.5 but the final piece looked great – proves the value of the tension square!
Meanwhile, Iris, Terry and Barbara got tangled up with some special ‘eyelash’ yarn, and experimented on a knitmaster machine. Interestingly they used every other needle, therefore treating the standard gauge (4.5mm) machine like a chunky machine (9mm).
