Knit and Natter regular Betty Corrie worked as a print designer for textiles for a number of studios in Manchester. Her father was also a manager for Tootal’s textile mill in Newton Heath. Here she talks about his job, the role of the factory in working life, and the changing face of the textile industry in Manchester.
