Machine knit group #05 – it all goes wrong

A week thwarted by technical hiccups of both the mechanical and IT variety. Snapped yarns, snagged cardigans, possessed carriages and no internet meant that progress felt slow. As time dwindles, the pressure builds to make something, anything, but of course, pressure + knitting = mistakes. And so it was, as my yarns failed to cast on, and Terry’s knitting fell off, and Iris knitted her own cardigan into Terry’s tension square. In the end all we could do was play, and with that Kath came up with a great discovery, double threading a yellow yarn and a blue yarn, and knitting some simple stocking stitch, creating a randomized horizontal colour mix.  I followed tack and knitted some working hours that had been submitted via the Punchcard Economy site, mixing a fine multi-coloured yarn with a basic white.
